Message	The OBD II diagnostic portconnector is completely different than OBD I. OBD II is standardized, OBD I is vehicle specific. Communication protocol between OBD I and OBD II is completely different, so there would be no chance of splicing in the OBD II diagnostic port connector and getting it to work. All OBD II ecu's have readiness check...it is part of the OBD II standard.
